love is unconditional

by

Deandre Yael Gignac

love is unconditional,
through darkness and the rain
love is unconditional,
to ease eachothers pain

my love is unconditional,
i stand through all the bad
my love is unconditional,
to comfort when you're sad

love is unconditional,
through heartache and distress
love is unconditional,
but never laid to rest

is your love unconditional,
through all my cloudy days?
is your love unconditional,
overall my many ways?

love is unconditional,
to hold us through and through
love is unconditional,
I pray ours to be true

don't make me go back

by

Deandre Yael Gignac

my life lies helplessly on a limb, waiting to be pulled by the wind.
Where do I go when night falls, what good is a home with out any walls?
Where do I belong if neither here nor there, it's not their life so why should they care?
I have struggled so but they don't see, what leaving here will do to me.
My words are strong but I am not, such honest feelings, such haunting thoughts.
Don't make me leave I am safe here, please cast me from this wicked fear. I promise, I swear I will be good, I'd take it all back if I could.
It's my past so I beg let me leave it there, don't make me go back, it just isn't fair.

goodbye disease

by

Deandre Yael Gignac

goodbye disease so long farewell
let go of me and go to hell
you've had me by the neck and toe
you have destroyed my life but so you know
im okay today without you
recovering and strong but so you knew
one day at a time is how i'll live
today you have no more to give
good bye disease in me no more
I'm done with you there's no more war
