Of Everyone Here

by

Mark Geoffrey Foster

Vacancy contemplates life
And the vision of rightful reason is lost
From the drift of the cost of soul
To uniting with love
The story has been told before
But the audience left in despair
The haze of the place was higher than most
And few could find ways through the glare

Of everyone here, all of you souls
Lost on the way back to your homes
Shall you keep riding on money and lust
'Till the toll keeper changes the look of the trust
That you so rightfully lost, through contemplation of reason

These days are of blankness covered in rhyme
Of the dream of the beings of time
Chasing the mind and the ego of name
For where we all end, we end all the same
And still but the verses keep coming
