Wondering Thoughts

by

Trish Farmer

The days are getting longer
And her thoughts are getting thicker
The moon is out, shinning beneath the stars
Looking down with a frown on his face
Wondering why?

The look upon her face tells all
Her eyes no longer sparkle
Her hair shines no more
And her fake smiles are so sad and long
Her heart aches for love and support
And her soul lurkes for forgiveness.

Her beautiful children so pure and innocent
Their smiles awaken her
Like the morning sunshine for a fresh new start
Their pain is so deep and misread
How could she hurt them so?

One day though
She will be given another chance
All the hurt will be covered
And all the tears will be wiped away
The sorrow will be forgotten
The moon is out, shinning beneath the stars
Saying Amen!

Who Am I?

by

Trish Farmer

Remember when her smiles were endless
And her eyes sparkled against the moonlight
Remember when she sang with the wind
And her touch was unforgetable
Remember when she walked so gracefully
And her mind was at peace

Who Am I?

Remember when her smiles were endless
And her eyes sparkled against the moonlight
Remember when she sang with the wind
And her touch was unforgetable
Remember when she walked so gracefully
And her mind was at peace
Who am I?

Remember when she would give her undivided attention
And her friends admired her to the fullest
Remember when her thoughts were meaningful
And her opinions were full of inspiration
Remember when she would make you smile at the sight of her
And she would make you laugh at her jokes
Who am I?

Remember when she would share her thoughts
And her mind was like a open book
Remember when she would give a piece of her heart
And she would not ask for nothing in return
Remember when her soul was colorful
And she is now empty and grey
Who am I?

My Soul

by

Trish Farmer

My soul is dark and grey
My mind is fluttered with memories
The time is coming and I will be faced
Who do I do, What do I say?

The sweat is pouring and my heart is racing
The long, sleepless nights
Dreams that awaken me with tears running down
What do I do, What do I say?

The feeling of emptiness
The thought of sorrow
The sight of pitiness
What do I do, What do I say?

Who am I?
What is right?
What is wrong?
What will he do, What will he say?

My One And Only

by

Trish Farmer

You are my one and only
My only true love
Without you I am lonely
The stars are falling from above.
For the sky is crying
Knowing my pain
The touch of sorrowness
Lies beneath me
With every last tingle.

To feel you near
Makes my heart skip a beat
To feel your touch
Sends tingles down my spine.
With love like ours
Who needs money
For our love is worth a million
And I wouldn't sell it for the world!
