bleeding walls,
desperate souls,
reaching out,
for a hand to hold
not wanting to put up a fight,
but too afraid to step into the light.
When all is lost,
what is the cost?
a loss of a life

Only Time Will Tell

by

Fanny

Living in fear,
your face is raw,
from endless tears.
Surrounded only by lies,
insecurity shows in the eyes.
Living in your own private hell,
will you make it?
Only time will tell.
Your life is looking very grim,
and the light at the end of the tunnel is beoming dim.
Will all be well?
Only time will tell.

Your Sea of Misery

by

Fanny

I see you out there,
drowning in your sea of misery.
I call out to you,
you turn and look at me.
I can see all your pain,
right there,
etched in your eyes,
windows to your soul.
You flail about wildly,
trying to stay above.
But every now and then,
you give up and sink.
But just when I think you are lost,
there you are,
living,breathing,
but still trying to stay above.
I want to help you,
but im at a loss, on what to do.
So I stand back,
and watch you drown,
in your sea of misery.
I tell you to hang on,
to not give up,
for things will eventually get better.
And you do for a while,
but then you give up,
or you get tired.
So I stand back, helplessly,
not knowing what to do,
or how to help,
as I watch you drown,
in your sea of misery.
