My Baby Lost

by

Carolyn Falls

Standing in the rain
Staring at the sky

In darkness and pain
No one ever asks why

Soaked in blood
Drenched in tears

Crying silent and alone
No one ever hears

Insanity comes, my baby lost
But a sad peace clears the way

Struggling to make it
Thankfully, I find a new day

If You Were Here

by

Carolyn Falls

If you were here,I would whisper, "I love you".

In the cool of the morning air, I would wrap my arms around you.

If you were here, I would tell you, "I've missed you".

If you were here, I would press my lips to yours.

If you were here, I would ask you to share this day with me,

A day to cry and forgive.

A day to laugh and love.

If you were here, I would scream, "I love you".

If you were here, I would ask you to marry me.

In one moment,I could say these words.
In one day, I could show you passion and desire.
But it would take a lifetime to love you.

Silent Song

by

Carolyn Falls

Lying in your arms

Your body across mine

Dancing to a silent song

Getting slowly lost in time

A dance I've only danced with you

To a song no one else has ever heard

Sharing love, shouting love

Without a single word
