Death

by

Mellissa Erps

Drifting slowly out of sight,
moving towards an endless night.
Waiting, wearly to arrive,
wishing you were still alive.

Pain, persecution all the way,
still no light left to day.
Tunneling vision fills your eyes,
in this place everything dies.

Closer, closer you speed towards,
armored men drawn with swords.
Standing, silently at the gates,
in the place where everything hates.

Much more guilt,
along with sorrow.
In this hell,
with no tommorow.
