Now I see

by

Chris Ellingsworth

Another night spent alone,
Another night spent in darkness.
The blackness of my heart has plagued me so.
But now I see the light, Now I see hope.
A lonely man I was when you found me.
I was once blind, but now I can see, see the
love that you bring to me.
Your love touched me, touched me deep down
in my soul.
A soul that was once a dark empty hole.
I'm by myslef, thinking of time wasted, time
that ws ill spent.
Maybe I came off strong, maybe I came off
light, but hopefully you knew what I
meant.
I was once blind, but now I can see, see the
love that you bring to me.
Your love touched me, touched me deep down in
my soul.
A soul that was once a dark empty hole.
Maybe for now I'm alone, maybe tonight I'm by
myself, but the glimmer of hope I've seen
in your eyes show me the life to come.
