Apart

APART

Does your eyes see life as I do?
Does your heart feel pain to create life anew?
Does your dreams burn within your heart, erupting from
your soul only to fly apart?
Has your life become the enemy of your expected days?
Becoming clouded with the dust of life and resulting Haze
Can you confide your deepest darkest desires?
Ever knowing that the fame of your tender heart will not expire.
Will you look beneath the obvious to find the treasure just beyond?
Will you follow as all do and stop with what on the surface you stumble upon.
Will you swallow me in your glory to desolve and become apart of you?
Will you help me to find my wings that I might soar among the clouds too.
Life and limited time may cause caution to dwell within the mind but in order to
feel the excitment within your heart one must become apart of the miracle
in life we find.

I want you but I don't need you

by

I want you, but I donít need you

I want you through the night, to hold me and squeeze me with all your might.
I donít need the drama that you bring, your cryptic manipulation of heart and emotions not worth faking.
I want the smile that brightens your eyes, and loving suggestion so awesome and wise.
I donít need your authoritarian manner laced with deceit, making your deformity of spirit complete.
I want your warm and caring ways, to guide me through lifeís muck and haze.
I donít need your ornate flair, and temper to trying to bare.
I want your soothing phonetic caress, to console the tensions caused by duress.
I donít need your belittling demand, which deliver an emotional backhand.
I want you in my life to share and to love, to abet and reach for the boundless sky above.
I donít need you to help me feel sad, fore on my own I can do bad.

Unchained

Unchained

Vanished, gone never to be seen.
Imagined, fancy hesitation of a dream.
Emotion, desire penitrate your mind.
Submerged, drenched begging for a lifeline.
Ascended, towering into the sky.
Floating, climbing to altitudes on high.
Leading, progressing into life's endless void.
Delighted, savoring an essence barely enjoyed.
Pondered, examine a reasoning mind.
Mimiced, follow the basis of time.
Explore, seek the root of life.
Observed, stumbled upon the edge with strife.
Gloried, delight in the splender of change.
Accommodated,adjust to nature unchanged.
With life and it's pleasure and love and it's pain.
Rejoice in the sanctuary of the hearts that remain.

When did you say good-bye?

by

Veronica Dudley

When did you say good-bye?

Did you say it when I cried, the tears of unrequited emotion?
Did you say it as you lied, with pain as your only mission?
Did you say it with a word, so harshly delivered?
Did you say it with awkward flair, with feeling unblurred?
Did you say it in a whisper so soft and free?
Did you say it with a vastness offered up by the sea?
Did you say it with a thunderous roar brought on by the storm of emotion?
Did you say it in a vacant flair barren of devotion?
Did you say it with a bereft of guilt lacking in truth?
Did you say it with vulgar manners of words uncouth?
Did you say it with a troubled heart riddled with despair?
Did you say it with a joy of a burden so rare?
When did you say good-bye, or were the words just a token?
You never even said good-bye no words were ever spoken.

The Dent

by

My Dent

I ignored the dent that condems me to death,
I ignored the dent in spite of myself.
I ignored the dent and prepared to die.
I ignored the dent never wondering why.
You did not ignore the dent, yet you paved the way.
You did not ignore the dent, yet you held evil at bay.
You did not ignore the dent, yet you set me high above.
You did not ignore the dent, yet you gave me pure love.
You did not ignore the dent, yet you gave me a task.
You did not ignore the dent, yet set before me to share the truth when asked.
I became a new person, and an heir to life, when you ignored the dent and saved my life.

Liv-ING

by

Veronica Dudley

Grunting, grumbling, groaning
Uttering monotone sounds that words do not recognize.

Examining, experimenting, exploring
Defying the limits that governs the demands of human emotion.

Defining, deciphing, discribing
Stumbling along upon wobbly limbs that tremble of innocents.

Glimpsing, glancing, gazing
Perceiving the sights that go beyond the eyes experience to communicate.

Boasting, braging, blustering
challenging the evolution of social iniquity.

Obsessing, observing, obsorbing
Conceiving the illumination of standardized inadequacy.

fabricating, perpatrating, pretending
qualifying the accomplishments of a oblivious existence.

reaching, realizing, reaping
making the actual passing of apprehension sufferable.

It is for all to either enjoy or tolerate the fundamental capacity to endure existance, fore each were created for the pleasure of only one.

Without a Price

by

Without a Price

When my spirit became stagnate
In a blinding force,
You set my path
On a solid course.

For in the middle
Of overwhelming despair,
I did not have to search
To find You there.

And when darkness
Draped so heavily,
Your grace overshadowed me.

Your righteous nature
Became my own,
When I realized that
Heaven is my home.

For the narrow path
Of a Covenant Agreement,
Purchased my soul
When the Son was sent.

And food to nurture
My famished soul,
Has been laced with a honey
So sweet and gold.

It is beyond the images
Of my mind,
And envelops me
Through all space and time.

And I will share it freely
For it feels so nice,
Because it came to me
Without a price.
