Diamond You

by

Grey Diamond

Made to measure
Two forever
Diamond ones
Separate never

Everso Slow

by

Grey Diamond

everso
suddenly
life slowed down

the plasticated wrapper
glided elegantly into
the plastic black box

and then it was over

And I Lay

by

Grey Diamond

lying retardant,
covered and hidden from the cold night above
encased in an ice room
coloured as the moon

filled with warm - an orange
glow to my left, my only light
Flying thought
welcome me to a warm night

but when I close my eyes
every view is void
my sight turns to blind.

The One In Me

by

Grey Diamond

I respect you
Live your life
Speak your mind
Free your thoughts
Write them down
Believe in God
Well, that's your way
(not mine)

Silent mind, is mine
Blindly scribbling
hoping

Now about me
How about me?
Opening up? Closing down?
Focused on one, who I search for
Seemingly forever - but getting closer

I wish to feel... secure like you

I see me, in the mirror
Ugly, dirty eyes
I see me, in car windows
As they fly by,
I remain
the same
still.

I only hope evermore
That my mind could shimmer, with hers

Stuttering I

by

Grey Diamond

My (I)
Blinking I,
Rest
-ful

Painful in this side
I can see just 1
inside
But more...There is a
Sphere. A sphere.

I can
I just can't keep
I stop.
Stuttering
"I"

mis-

by

Grey Diamond

I am here alone
Filled with monochrome hole
Friends all undercovers

All misunderstanding things
All mistaking
All undervaluing
All misinterpreting
Judging

Missing the point.
Missing.

I miss you.
