You’re still my child

by

Candace Cunningham

I didn't know what stepmother meant when I feel in love. It's like God sent me another child from the sky above.
I can be a friend, when you feel no one listens. I'm always there, with no conditions.
I love you the same as any mother would. I'll stand by your side the best any mother could.
I'll teach you right from wrong from time to time. With nothing but love just like I do mine.
I'll cry when your hurt or life gets you down. I'll be there for your celebrations just look for me and I'll be found. You are in my heart and I carry you there each day. And I'm your stepmom , because God joined us this way.
