The Unknown

by

Sean Cummins

Do we look at the stars,
Or so they look at us?
Do they gaze at us from afar,
Do they know who we are?

Are we journeying alone,
Or are we accompanied
As we spin in a galactic cyclone
Through the abyssal Unknown?

Is the past at the present,
Or is it present at the future?
Does it pursue us without relent?
Does it visit us at intervals persistent?

Are these ponderings trivial,
Or all too relevant?

Is there a rational explanation of reality?
Or is the only answer our own Paranormality?

Teenager

by

Sean Cummins

Live with life
Die with death
Strive with strife
I'm going deaf

Burn in fire
Bleed your blood
Splinter your cross
Become the mud

Give your love
Break your heart

Hatred,
Rage:
Tormentors of every age.
Love,
Compassion:
Sentiments out of fashion.

Indifference,
Resent:
Two emotions becoming ever too frequent.
Hope,
Gratitude:
Feelings that seem to have been forgotten for good.

Anger,
Detest:
Demons putting humans to the test.
Kindness,
Consideration:
Never the topics of contemplation.

Love me By Lindsay Clarence

by

Sean Cummins

Kiss me softly,
Hold me tight.
Never let me forget this night.

Tell me what,
I want to hear.
Whisper sweet words in my ear.

Hold me close.
Don't let me go,
And I'll tell you how I love you so.

Lay me down,
Inside your lair,
And run your fingers through my hair.

Tie me up,
In pretty lace,
And place your kisses on my face!
