My Depression

by

Janey Costa

I wish I could forget so I could start my life anew

I wish I could forget so that I wouldn't feel so blue

I wish I could forget the memories in my head

My body feels so weak and feels as if I'm dead

I wish I was an infant who's future is so bright

I would be taken care of and be the sunshine and the light

But that is just a dream and I know I can't go back

So I need to change my future so I will no longer feel so black.
