Soft and free as morning's air,
Rays of sunlight on her hair,
She who is a part of me,
Sitting here upon my knee,
Whispers Mommie I love you.
Can we please go to the zoo?
I would be a good girl there.
I could see the big black bear.
There'd be cotton candy too,
Fields of green and skies of blue,
Lions and tigers I would see,
And you'd be right there with me.
Yes, my daughter we will go,
Oh, I see how fast you grow.
'Morrow's eve you'll march away,
So I'll cherish you today.
