Thinking

by

Melissa Christopher

The tickers in my head
won't connect to work together
they're off of the beat
flying free like a feather

The contraption of my mind
is put together right or wrong
the output of confusion
doesn't match the song

I'll know when I'm free
of this cluttered desperation
I'll be happy as a bird
and take a psychological vacation

Say goodbye to zero-fillers
as I strip my brain
of the useless info.
then our minds will be the same
