Behind My Smile: A Nameless Name

by

Vienna Carendella

A nameless terror with a nameless face;
A nameless feeling with a nameless place.
A forgotten understanding with a forgotten trust;
A forgotten fight with a forgotten sense of what's just.

An always remembered leaving with a never coming back;
An always remembered contention with an always having lack.
An always remembered dying with a never return to living;
An always remembered hating with a never truly forgiving.

A nameless tale begins once again to unfold;
A nameless story that must be told.
A soundless song that can't be sung;
A soundless bell that can't be rung.

A forgotten wound reopened with a twisted yen;
A forgotten memory seen again.
Of a nameless terror with a nameless face;
Of a nameless feeling with a nameless place.
