Weather Here
by
- The wind blows softly, the sun is low.
- I run and run and run and I wish it
- snowed: but it doesn't snow here
- and that's too bad, but if it did that
- would be rad!
There Is?
by
Sasha Campbell
Is there a gap between the rich and the poor
Is there a hole between the frame and the door
Is there a space between the young and the old
Is there a difference between truth and lies told
Is there a purpose to this path, to this way
Is there a path to follow each day
Is there a meaning to the way that we choose
Is there a winner or do we all lose.

Soft pink petals flush and dance
Golden waves ripple and flow
Green pebbles stare, in a trance
Smooth white snow shines with a glow
The laughing gurgle of the waterfall
With the wind the brances flail
Hear the sweet dove's call
Live and defy the fairy tale
A flower, an ocean, a river's bend
The wings, the wind that sings the dance
Can this describe what's in her head
Can this wake her from her trance
Not Earth Nor Heaven
by
Sasha Campbell
The waves that dance upon the ocean's shore
The wind that brushes soft upon my cheek
The birds that hum a song for me once more
Could never bring to me the love I seek
The sweetest fragrance of the flower's scent
The warmest rays of golden bright crown'd sun
The wink of stars and smiles of moon's crescent
Could never match the love that we've begun
I wandered lonely in the fields of love
Without the hand, the heart, the falf I need
Until I found the one I'm thinking of
The one to hold to make my life complete
Not nature's fruits nor heaven's shining grace
Could match the love I feel in your embrace
