Believing

by

Rebecca Bychek

When I last saw you,
I was scared.
I couldn't believe what I saw,
All I saw was your outer not your inner.
I didn't understand what was going on.
I wanted to tell you how special you were, but
I was so sad the words wouldn't come out of mouth.
I have thought about you a lot, and
I have so many memories, but
As the days go on,
I'm afraid that I will forget you, but
Your to special to forget.
I try talking to you every night, but
I don't feel your presence.
Are you with me?
Will you stay in my mind and heart forever?
I am having a lot of trouble accepting that your gone.
I don't want to accept it!
I don't want to believe it!
