Love Reborn

by

Koroth Bryant

Dedicated to Gretchen Conrad

Sweet love lost, but not forgotten
A heart once shared, now only shattered

We gave so freely, but time halted
A love true and pure, history’s claim

Our paths chance cross, oh fate!
Once met, we were ne’er again same.

A new love born, sweet, strong, sure
Your words, soul, my heart flattered.

Stars shine above, in moon lit night
Holding you close, just so right.

As ages roll, you I hold.
And love returns, thousand fold.

Your heart mine, My heart yours
Never a love, near as pure.

We chance meet, moon lit night
Hearts so pure, love so right.
