I sit there on the beach...
watching, waiting.
It crashes on my legs,
the salt stinging my lips.
I can see him, standing
He is oblivious to all.

The waves are a swirling green swell,
an immense wetness around his limbs.
He dives into a wave, tunneling down,
down into the vortex.

He rises. Waves break upon his back.
Silhouetted against the sun,
the droplets sparkle as they cascade down his back.

As he turns to me, I rise.
I dash to him. How blissful it is,
to be loved by him, and to love him.
