Reality Part I

by

Benjamin Bristow

You naievity is the cause
Of what you know and hate
Everythings the same
Nothing remains in vain
And your driven to your knees
Like the wind that blows the trees
Knocks down your dreams
You close the door in shame
And we stand alone tonight
Afraid of what we hide
Still nothings changed

I try to open up the door but it closes in my face
I turn say good bye
I try to balance out the pain
And turn around again
As the switch turns off the light
As lives are scaterred
The mystery at hand
Fades to the night
The reality of youth
