Little Bitty Birdie

by

Joseph E. Borda

Little bitty birdy all painted brown and grey
landed in my front yard and I just watched him play
he tugged a little fatworm but it just pulled away
he hopped around a beetle the beetle did'nt stay
He picked around the leaves looking for a clue
where would I find breakfast, what was I to do?
He stopped to drink a dew drop when right between his toe
the Fatty Worm popped out his head, oh no oh no oh no

Off the wall

by

Joseph E. Borda

Funnie little patterns painted on my wall
texturecoat they call it but really thats not all
looking up I see a smile upon a lovely face
to my right a little pony, in a pony race
I stare and doubt my sanity and rub my eyes in shame
those tiny patterns taunting me in my room remain.

An Angels View

by

Joseph E. Borda

The wind and rain had cast its spell
the mighty thunder lashed as well
the rumble and the fury,
the lightening and its glow
echoed in the valley
from the distant hills below
the sky so dark with agony,
and clouds so filled with pain
they sent their tears down to earth
as drops of frozen rain
the robin and the meadowlark
each had made a friend
while perched together faithfully
waiting for the end

the churning clouds
have passed away
the rain began to slow
the air so fresh the wind now calm the sun began to show

and over the valley, as you can see
peace, kindness, love, and a rainbow from me...
