In and out and up and down,
Lips persed together-a deeper frown.
Round and round, from left to right,
Eyes wide open but blinded by light.
Heart beats faster, almost in haste,
Mouth waters, leaving a bitter taste.
Hands fisted with knuckles so white,
Shaking urgently, almost in fright.
Pins and needles apear in both feet,
Pores open wide and dampen the sheet.
Bolt right, upwards and open one eye,
Its now much safer, begin to cry.
Another night with no restful sleep,
The scar has now cut way to deep.
I dont know what to write, Ive been sitting here all night.
I cant seem to work it out,
My mind is full of doubt.
Dont know which way to turn,
All the feeling inside still churn.
Looking for the right direction,
Trying to make some sort of conection.
With a little light within my life,
All that shines is a silver knife.
I want my thoughts to be clear,
I dont want to carry this fear.
This pain I cannot describe,
My only wish now is suicide.
A peaceful feeling is what I need,
A single cut and Ill succeed.
Theres no life left in me,
Cant you see, just let me be.
Im screwed up, fucked up
Smashed like an old mug,
Used up, trampled on
Messed up in confusion.
The pain you cause you dont see,
Let me go, set me free.
I give up this fight
As I see no light.
Twisted and bitter
Like mouldy old litter,
Your words that scold
And your actions cold,
Just to keep me here
You use all that I fear
....And all that I fear is within you.
To find your direction
You must see your reflection,
See past your complexion,
Your mind becomes an extention
Of your heart felt dream,
Close your eyes, let out the scream
And the relief it brings will seem,
Like a warmly soaked sun beam.
Let it sink into your skin, open armed,
Your mind rested and calmed.
Now your direction you will see
And your more than your reflection was thought to be.
......Only you can set yourself free!
I want to write a poem
To get these feelings out,
But I cant seem to find the words
To explain what this feelings about.
So I sit and stare at the feeding birds,
And gaze upon the blubells
Blowing softly in the breeze,
I often wonder how nature tells
Its story with such ease.
Its beauty ever present
Lets of a warmth that heals the soul,
Its almost as if it was ment
To help you regain control.
With a newborn smile upon my face,
I see the world in its true light,
I begin to walk a new steady pace
Knowing that everything in life is worth the fight.
