Cool Guy

by

Krissy Berent

He really is not worth a second tear
A nervous voice he does not deserve
Alone in his self centered box he will awake one day
To regret all that was carelessly cast aside... that maybe... might've brought bliss

Kevin

Something that presents itself in such utter bliss...
can bring on the pangs of wanted self destruction.

If only such a death dealing feeling could be brought to those daring enough to risk its consequence......
a feeling with its own enticing trap will destroy whoever falls

Demise

by

Krissy Berent

Hurt again the sufferer grabs his chest in pain

Just about to trust... to love
This swift stroke breaks his heart

Alone in his pain with no one to understand, he reaches for the bottle to drown his sorrow

The wish for this pain to cease... the wish for death he gulps his way to numbness

Alone in his distress

Hevlacks confidence in tommorow...thinking it impossible
His pain engulfs him and then
Ends as he falls away to unconciousness

You state your individuality boldly from your mouth
Not realizing your actions incriminate blind princible

That which sings from your heart... screams FOLLOWER

Where you "bury your love" reaks of a desire to conform

In all your "greater" life experience you failed to learn that:
Happiness comes not from what others think
But from the love of others and having it returned
