Surrounded by so many things...
Triggers, memories, and loved ones
Are here in this place.
Yet...where am I?
I search in my sleep,
Unaware of what I may find.
Daily I stroll my minds'path,
In darkness...
Grasping for the bright light,
It must be there,
Peace...
Where is it hidden?
Are you born deserving it,
Or must it be earned,
Through years of agonizing pain.
Where am I?
Really...I am five, I am thirty one,
I am a mother...
Searching for my light,
To show me who I am.
