hoard the word
fix it
cut it's tubes
into jelly
and peanut butter
spread out
like your legs
spread
when you thought you were a woman
that time before you knew
before you felt the breeze
soft
linen sheets
now
stained
you look for inspiration
remembering your fifteen barbie dolls
you burned
one by one
inhaling the plastic fumes
wanting to be real
you knew there was a price even then
what you didn't know
was that you had to pay it
