Peek-a-boo

Peek-a-boo
I look around the corner and I hope to see you
Where have you gone, I stop and ponder
I search and search and still I wander
seems this time you've hidden yourself well
and as hard as I try, why I cant' tell

I look and I search as I may
but I cannot figure out why you are hiding this way
you may have to help me, perhaps my sight is not keen
please open my eyes, and let yourself be seen

I think perhaps I'm looking in vain
and you are no longer playing the game
I hang on a hope that that is not so,
and that soon I will find you, and to that place I will go

I do not know how long it might take
but I know once I find you it will have been worth the wait
