Just a Dream

by

I wish that I could stop it,
Stop caring for you so_
It’s not as easy as it looks_
I’m really trying though

I know I said I’m done
And that I really do not care_
But please! Who’m I kidding_
I know the love’s still there.

I know you do not care for me,
And your friends all hate me too_
But that’s not enough to stop me,
From tellin’ you the truth.

I know that I have told you
And you’re prob’ly sick of me,
Believe me I have tried_
Tried to leave you be!

I know you understand my pain
Cuz’ I know you feel it too_
Only difference is,
You feel for her, and I feel for you!

I wish that we could work this out,
It’d be jus like a dream_
Just like all those fairy-tales_
The ones that we’ve all seen!

Stuck in my head_
This little thought mine_
I guess that’s where it’ll stay,
Until the very end of time_
I wish that I could stop it,
Stop caring for you so_
It’s not as easy as it looks_
I’m really trying though

I know I said I’m done
And that I really do not care_
But please! Who’m I kidding_
