Methodical Eradication

by

Eric Armstrong

On a day like any other
Only dead for one thousand years
In an extinguished world
We tried to save
Or so we told ourselves
As we descended to the grave
A selfish act failed
So miserably, so completely
When in time a piece of the entirety
Became so astray
As to believe is was their world
To conceive it this way
To be forever hurled
Into darkness and dismay
Non existence eternally
Is the price we will pay

To What Ends

by

Eric Armstrong

To what ends, in feral times these are
Marked with peril, remember your security
So distant now from where you are
Has it really gone away?
Or can you still recall if you didnít stay
And left it alone
But how does it go again
Your life, yes, how does it go?
Day after day,
Is happiness fictional,
Well is it? Truthfully please
It becomes very difficult
To lie to oneself in these ways
When crying inside becomes commonplace
And your ravished mind grows cold
The lines on your grieving face
Tell me the story you havenít yet told
Do you still belief your myth?
Or can these words become the light
Which destroys your shadowed conception
That nothing meant for your life was right
And that true love was your strongest deception
And that souls of empathy have lost their direction
Can you see the undying affection?
A symbolic portrayal of your beautiful reflection
Another soul, awaiting your self-expression
Longing to treasure your thoughts
Awaiting what enlightenment your words
Can bring to this despondent life
And what exhilaration you can stir in my heart
A love so profound
So powerful in many ways
Eager for your caressing touch
Unsatisfied without your soul of purity
Loneliness and isolation
Awaking me in my obscurity
Let me show you how much good you will feel
And how much you can believe
That this time it is real
My only wish in these times
To return you to bliss
For reasons only with a kiss
Can you see this cycle of seasons
Returning me from darkness
A spark igniting the fire
Engulfing my life with
The most passionate desire
Your presence on this day
I so truly miss
And your strength
I do so admire

Deadly Preponderance

by

Eric Armstrong

Countdown in my reversal,
Then day, then night, unite,
Characterize what wild eyes you see,
Of course Ďtis me speaking of me, the insight.
Temporal items gaining ground, seeing all around,
Asleep restful awakened in light and sound.
Time joining union with some times I feel
Some vivid new unnoticeable power found, Ďtis real?
The question abounds.
Was ever so essence the lifeís golden time doth feel?
And shaking so it doth astound?
Was what is what nothing what I knew?
Oneís mind one day once flew, was down.
An all thoughtless action breeds wherefore art thou true?
Hit absolute depthís lowest of whatís due, Ďtis clue,
Inevitable either death comes always for minds blue,
Deprave is replaced only by intensity misguided and untrue.
The grave your only rest in this see me in my form,
Heart and mind between me torn,
This love I scorn for you.

Charismatic Deception

by

Eric Armstrong

Through the clearing we moved
Without dismay nor apprehension
With forests embracing the vista that enveloped us
Light emanated from no known source
Just enough to see that all was ablaze
The night knew what we knew
As did the forest that watched silently from afar
And all the life that existed
Cried out to us
And stirred our souls with impassioned fire

Truest Bliss

by

Eric Armstrong

To conceive is to forever let go
Iíll still exist
Time will flow
Itís not important now
Fleeting dreams of satisfaction
Nailed down by immeasurable sadness
Despite any actions
Unbearably hopeless, no relief
In hellís endless torrent of languish and grief
Not one thing can shake this lethal belief
You will never see what isnít shown
A love Iíve lived, youíve never known
A loss not described with descriptions
Not with tears nor painful convictions
Unlike any other despair
Not unlike when emotions tear
Or when hearts shatter
And your self-expression
Becomes something that doesnít matter
To understand it,
You donít need this
Absence of energy, truest bliss

unholy

without christ I live My life in glory
without christ I wake up so fullfilled
without christ I love My Family dearly
without christ I believe in just Myself

without christ I cherish every moment
without christ I help the Ones in need
without christ I show respect to all
without christ I shall not ever fall

no organization ever in this world
has been more responsible for this world's demise
than christianity

no organization ever in this world
has denied more responsiblity for this world's demise
than christianity

for all of Those millions who died
by the hands of those who lied
who spread their word like a plague
Those brave hearts will not be forgotten
in time the christian cause will fall
and in its ruins your memories will stand tall.
