My love I lost today

by

Rajini Aravind

Today I lost
I lost my love
Tomorrow I may gain

Yet I am lost
Lost I am
Tomorrow's yet another day

I am confused
When friends turn foe
For love
For lust
For gain

I am denied
Those feelings of love
Oh why oh why do they hide

Oh love I lost you today
Where do I find you I say

Someone told me look inside me
But where do I find thee

Oh love I lost thee today
My love I have lost me

Oh where oh where can my love be
oh where oh why is thee

If I Could

by

Rajini Aravind

Someone gave this poem to me, I'm not sure who wrote it.

If I could be any other life.... I'd want to be your tear.
To be born in your eye...
To live on your cheek...
And to die upon your lips...
