Governmental regulation and intrusion into advanced technology items such as the Internet should be kept to a minimum. Other than enacting laws aimed at limiting children's access to things like pornography, government should take a hands-off approach. There are numerous programs now available that will allow parents to block their children's access to sites they do not approve of. Parents are ultimately responsible for their children. Government does not need to step into the parent role: they should be allowed to make their own decisions as to what they wish to let their children be exposed to.
