O lovely daughter of Jerusalem
Daughter of Pharez married to Zarah
Lovely bride to the Scarlet Thread
From whom the royal blood was hued
When Jeremiah on an Eagle's wing flew
To IsRaELAND the thread so true
Bringing stone of Scone with you
Please accept my tribute please do
Past forgotten name of ancient fame
You thrill me through and through
As only the poetry of GOD can do
And our lives are the poetry of God
That we mangle, misread, and abuse
As no unmetered sonnet can ever do
