My Life

Together we were one,
I gave you my heart,
Only to have it shattered time and time again.
I gave you my soul,
And you only despised me more.
The tears in my eyes fall for nothing more then me.
This is MY life.
MY fight.
Still your taunting words echo in my mind.
You told me not to cry, for it wasn't my fault.
But fault has nothing to do with it.
Nothing matters more the the decisions I make,
but you only disagree with them.
Together we were one.
We would fight the world without despair.
And now that you're gone,
I'll fight alone.
My own tears, my own heart, my own soul.
I'll fight without you.
For MY LIFE.
