The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Watchers dream
Watchers dream
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
We sat on clouds above
Stared down at all we love
Count sheep then fell asleep
But in our dreams we weep
Life just aint what it seems
This is a watchers dream
Were fickle faint and cold
Ignore all were told
Above they point and scream
This is a watchers dream
Lets show them just how they’ve been to all of us
Let make sure they know just what they’ve done to us
As we fall apart at the seems
This is there watchers dream
