The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Violence
Violence
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
Whilst sitting and writing
Analysing my soul
There’s something I’ve found
That I thought I could control
This violence in me
The unstable streak
I don’t deserve to be happy
All I deserve is to weep
And by god that I do
but only in my head
for the day that id show someone
id rather be dead
some might say that it is a skill
to be able to hurt to maim and to kill
a part of me agrees
for ruthless I could be
but when I look inside myself
I see that that’s not me
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
Have I Told You?
