The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Suicidal intent

Suicidal intent

by

Thomas Leatherbarrow

They wonder why it happens just the same
I think I’ve found the answer to the game

Because they like to feel their pain
Subconscious efforts drive them insane

Its them that drives the wedge between
Its them that shatters their every dream

This illness this sickness is a part of them
And will continue to pillage unless the flow they stem

I have realised now why things go wrong
Not because the world is fickle or flawed
But because of all the problems that are caused

Its this that ruins our attempts to be content
This vile disgrace and
Suicidal intent
