The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Strange is this life we lead

Strange is this life we lead

by

Thomas Leatherbarrow

Strange is this life we lead
Do you ever stop and think
That peoples choices decisions in life
They push us to the brink

Strange is this life we lead
Do you stop to analyse
That we are all the same
If you just open up your eyes

Strange is this life we lead
Do you ever stop to think
With bonds destroyed some made anew
They share a common link

Strange is this life we lead
Do you stop to analyse
Who gives the right to anyone
To judge each others lives

Strange is this life we lead
And in it we make our choices
But we are all so similar
With all our unique voices
