The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Solitude

Solitude

by

Thomas Leatherbarrow

A word that comes from beyond the grave
To live alone and not be saved

Oh what a painful thing this is
But that is all and that is this

Through strained eyes and hearts a fluster
Grasping at any strength to muster

Solitude such a lonesome thing
And one that only pain can bring

Solitude is a Burden to much to carry on your own
But By definition is something that has to be done alone
