The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Misaligned intentions
Misaligned intentions
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
Misaligned intentions
A strange but cognitive thought
These misaligned intentions
Is this not what is sought
Misaligned intentions
Make us wallow in ourselves
These misaligned intentions
Of our own endearing hell
Misaligned intentions
To control so stealthily
These misaligned intentions
Has no faith in what’s to be
Misaligned intentions
Sly and cunning at their best
These misaligned intentions
Much more dangerous than the rest
Misaligned intentions
Has yet to understand
These misaligned intentions
Are controlled by human hands
