The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Emotion
Emotion
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
Don’t let them in or breach your shields
For if you do you wont get out of fields
Emotion is your Achilles heel
so don’t let it in you don’t need to feel
Tie it up lock it away
Where ever you put it make sure it stays
You don’t want it to ever arise
But if it does then close your eyes
Close your eyes to the world then see
How weak emotion can really be
If you never show what you feel
Then it cant manifest so its not real
And now you now what you must do
Heed my warnings for its all true
Shut it away and seal the lid
For your sake just get rid
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
