The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Desire

Desire

by

Thomas Leatherbarrow

I desire to be
who you would call
when you cannot face it all

When no one will let you in
my arms you can rest within
Then Out of the ashes you will rise
much to everyone’s surprise

your not perfect
and I’m not too
But ill always remain true

And when your down
id pick you up from off the ground
This is what I desire to be
I want you but you don’t want me

What do I desire more than you
Wont you ask me what I miss
Well I tell you if you want me to
I trade it in for one last kiss

NEXT?
Why don't you look at I Know
