Crimson victim
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
Darkness surrounds this
Lonesome place
But in the distance
An angelic face
One of which beauty will
Always shine
One of which someday
I hope to be mine
And in the distance
a sharp beam of light
this moment in time
its useless to fight
the pain and the torture
of a feeling that burns
two souls that connected
left wanting and yearns
alone is this girl of a crimson dream
the love and affection that she never had seen
was stolen away like a blow of a flame
her soul lies in tatters and nothing remains
what will become of the victim of sin
an act so terrible that she hides it within
but I can see her
for what she is
she has broken free
she is no longer his
