The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Constantly there

Constantly there

by

Thomas Leatherbarrow

A change of place a change of pace
I’m sick of walking around
and seeing your face

Everywhere I go in this lonely town
There are memories of you
That manage to bring me down

Walk past that spot on that wall
See your shadow distant and vague
Turn around
Take a look at what you’ve made

There’s nowhere now that I can hide
Your always around
Stood by my side

Infected now I can’t even live
You’ve ravaged me

Every bone every cell
Your there
creating my eternal hell

I must run again
But in my past
You will remain

Yet I cant
I don’t know why
But there is an alternative

I could just die

NEXT?
Why don't you look at guys and sex
