The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Closure
Closure
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
I have needed closure for so very long
To tell me if I’m right or wrong
Of the day when we truly spoke
And the feelings in me that you awoke
But all you do is put it off
Now I know that all is lost
I’m so glad that we talked again
Now I know I’m not insane
I still don’t know what I must do
But I’ll be a friend
I’ll be there for you
And it will burn me up inside
Until one day It cannot hide
The closure that I said to you
It was my only lie
It was not true
I still and always will
Long for you
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
O QUE É MAIS BELO?
