The Web Poetry Corner - Thomas Leatherbarrow - Apology
Apology
by
Thomas Leatherbarrow
don’t hate me coz im different
don’t love me coz im yours
don’t even give me the time of day
Because im a lost cause
don’t press your opinions upon me
don’t force them in my head
Coz one day you’ll go to far
And ill end up dead
don’t you ignore me
But don’t you reply
Coz the words that I fear most
Is that you only want Si
I see it now a play on words
As clever as can be
The name you gave that made you happy
its not even a he
I hope im wrong
And that your ok
And that everything will be fine
And your life is picture perfect
And so unlike mine
Its different now wont be the same
And I cannot return
Ive crossed the line that kept me sane
And still have much to learn
But if you’d come back
And speak to me
the world it could be bared
But you wont read this
Wont now im sorry
My apology wont be heard
NEXT?
Why don't you look at
