Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?...
Because the rooster on her side of the road disturbed her. He was taking her place, existing unpropitiously,
Bored and sick of complacency
He was soaring at her expense
Stealing his rich colors from her blood
She thought about hemorrhage and dislodgment every time she looked at him
So with slow step and cold eye
She crossed the granite without blinking
and let the rapacious birds devour him
