The Web Poetry Corner - T. J. Daniels - THIS OLD OAK

THIS OLD OAK

by

T. J. Daniels

This old oak
is weathered and worn.

Some bark missing here
some branches torn.

New twigs springing up
all around

but my shade covers
a lot of ground.
