The Web Poetry Corner - T. J. Daniels - THE SOUND OF BEING ALONE

THE SOUND OF BEING ALONE

by

T. J. Daniels

I don't like the sound
of being alone.

It's like
Thunder
without the
Flash.

The sound of one hand clapping
or an actor
without an act.

Life without breath
the morning without dew.

The ocean with no water
or me without you.
