Once upon a whisper

in days gone by...

I lost my heart
on a midnight ride.

My steed was swift
but I lost the race.

With only heartache
to take it's place.

I lost the only love
that I've ever known.

Someone else
won her heart
and my love has flown.

Once upon a whisper.
