The Web Poetry Corner - T. J. Daniels - MY FAILING EYES
MY FAILING EYES
by
T. J. Daniels
There's so much
I haven't seen.
There's so much more
that I will never see.
Most of what I haven't
will not even be.
When I'm old enough
to finally see.
With only heartache
to take it's place.
I lost the only love
that I've ever known.
Someone else
won her heart
and my love has flown.
Once upon a whisper.
