The Web Poetry Corner - T. J. Daniels - ARMS FULL OF MEMORIES
ARMS FULL OF MEMORIES
by
T. J. Daniels

But I hold them
tightly at my side.
I smile
but they ache.
Because now they are
holding empty.
Where they used to be holding you
they now hold only memories.
